Saulo Gonzalez
Founder & Creative Director

Charismatic, bold, and deeply passionate, Saulo González has transformed his love for hospitality and events into a standout presence in the world of destination weddings and high-end corporate gatherings. With a foundation in Tourism, an MBA, and multiple international certifications — including CCM, CIS, CMS, and ABC Certified Wedding Planner — Saulo blends academic preparation with refined taste and hands-on experience, a combination that shows in every project he touches.

Among his many accomplishments, one highlight is his direction and planning of a multi-day event at One&Only Mandarina, where he designed and executed a series of immersive experiences across several venues. These included a Polo Match, a welcome party inspired by mokara orchids and Veuve Clicquot bubbles, an oceanfront wedding ceremony at The Jetty, and a vibrant “Tropical Disco Party” complete with an acclaimed DJ, curated happenings, and an explosion of neon.

In the corporate world, one of his most notable milestones was leading the XIII Pacific Alliance Summit 2018 at Casa Velas. Saulo coordinated every detail and worked closely with the Presidential General Staff of Mexico and high-profile attendees including Sebastián Piñera (President of Chile), Juan Manuel Santos (President of Colombia), Martín Vizcarra (President of Peru), and Enrique Peña Nieto (President of Mexico).

Every event carries his personality and heart. For Saulo, building genuine connections, earning his clients’ trust, and guiding them toward celebrations that stand the test of time is essential. To him, each wedding or event is not just a production. It’s a shared story and a collection of memories to keep.

For Saulo, three simple yet powerful essentials mark the beginning of any project: a fruity herbal tea, his favorite playlist, and the uplifting scent of citrus oils in his diffuser.

Beyond work, he finds inspiration in the love of his three Shih Tzus — Paco, Chanel, and Manchas — as well as in journal writing and swimming.

His life mantra, taken from The Little Prince, reflects his guiding philosophy:

“Strive to be so great that everyone wishes to reach you, and so humble that everyone wishes to be with you.”

Those who know him speak of his contagious laughter, his gift for storytelling, and his ability to turn clients into lifelong friends. They know firsthand that for Saulo, every event leaves a mark, because more than celebrations, they are experiences designed to touch the heart.

Evelin Maldonado is the embodiment of order — a quality that has shaped her solid career in accounting, human resources, payroll, and administration. Throughout her professional journey, she has learned to see beauty in well-structured processes and in numbers that move with harmony. Her gift for transforming chaos into order creates the firm foundation every event needs so that creativity can shine without worry. For Evelin, behind every flawless celebration, there are processes, payments, and teams aligned with precision.

Her passion for organization and detail is evident in everything she does: from her ability to anticipate solutions before problems arise to the trust she effortlessly builds in every interaction. Her mantra, “Order doesn’t limit. It liberates,” guides her work style and has become a tangible value for the AMARA team and for our clients.

Beyond the numbers, Evelin cherishes the human side of her work. One of her most meaningful achievements was helping a young man with hearing and speech disabilities secure a stable job — an experience that deeply marked her life and reflects her commitment to people.
Outside the office, her inspiration comes from what she loves most: her family. Movie nights with her daughter and husband recharge her, as does her curiosity and drive to keep learning — a passion that has even led her to pursue a second degree.

Cindy brings energy, precision, and sensitivity to her work: the perfect combination for an operations lead.

Cindy’s professional journey began in the hospitality industry, or as she calls it, her “true school,” where she discovered her passion for service, teamwork, and coordinating under pressure. Her background in Marketing, along with experience in customer service, administrative roles, invoicing, and collections management, have shaped the Cindy we know today.

She is someone with a comprehensive vision who brings structure, clarity, and order to every event she leads. Her ability to organize and detect operational details before they become setbacks makes her an essential part of AMARA.

For Cindy, success lies in the sum of small actions carried out with consistency and commitment. What she loves most about her work is the dynamism of each project and the moment when careful planning becomes something tangible. Her daily inspiration comes from her desire to keep growing, the trust her team places in her, and the example she wants to set for her daughter: one of perseverance and responsibility.

With a practical, detail-oriented, and creative style, Cindy is the kind of person who keeps her “feet on the ground” and her mind on every detail, always with a smile and a genuine willingness to help. Her colleagues know her as a reliable ally, and clients remember her as a loyal, honest woman who always gives her very best.

Outside of work, her family, exercise, movies, and quiet moments recharge her. Her mantra, “Success is the sum of small efforts repeated day after day,” reflects the committed and meticulous woman she is — someone who shines (just like the sparkle emoji ✨) and helps every project shine too.

Tireless and deeply committed…that is Ángel. He ensures that every setup is carried out with precision, passion, and excellence. His experience in operations and logistics makes him a key member of the team. He leads large-scale installations, coordinates crews, and guarantees that every detail is in its place before the lights come on.

His greatest satisfaction is witnessing how an idea transforms into an event and knowing that his work was essential in making it happen. Among his achievements, he highlights coordinating complex setups under pressure and tight timelines without ever sacrificing quality. He is also skilled at leading efficient, dedicated teams that share his work ethic and enthusiasm.

Ángel’s superpower is staying calm and finding solutions when time or circumstances put execution to the test. For him, no obstacle is impossible when passion, commitment, and collaboration lead the way.

Outside of work, he finds inspiration in what he loves most: his family, his children, and his pet Killer. Soccer, time with loved ones, and moments of rest are his formula for recharging and staying motivated.

Ángel is one of those people who, beyond physical effort, radiates enthusiasm and confidence. His colleagues easily remember him for his strong sense of responsibility, his willingness to help, and his resilience in the face of challenges. For clients, he is synonymous with professionalism, dedication, and flawless results.

A Favorite Memory
Throughout his time at AMARA, Ángel has experienced many events, but there are always moments that leave a lasting impression. Like the time during an event setup when the client surprised everyone with live music. Even though they were working, the atmosphere was so joyful and unique that the entire team ended up enjoying it as if they were guests themselves.

A style rebel, respectful at his core, and creative by nature, Said finds his favorite form of expression behind the camera.

His life has been surrounded by art since childhood thanks to a family that lives and breathes talent in many forms. That environment filled his gaze with aesthetics, sensitivity, and a deep curiosity for storytelling. First came photography, then film, and eventually he found in social media the perfect place to merge technique, narrative, and emotion.

His professional journey reflects the same boldness as his creative style. He began at Nike Corp as a Specialist Marketing Manager, leading a pioneering project in Mexico and Latin America. His first opportunity as a Community Manager brought him into the Meliá group, but one of his most meaningful accomplishments was working for Disney as a content creator for Disney Cruise Line — living and filming aboard the ships. That experience transformed his life and cemented his belief that creativity, when nurtured, multiplies.

Today, Said enjoys his chapter at AMARA, creating content by the sea in Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit while building a new life alongside his mother, his greatest inspiration.

Day to day, he is motivated by the power of the ocean, his physical discipline, and the strength of teamwork. His superpower: leading, proposing, and contributing from a collaborative mindset. He is always striving for content that connects, inspires, and tells an honest story.

Outside of work, he recharges through training, staying close to the ocean, and continually learning about personal branding and visionary creators.

His mantra is a quote from Maya Angelou: “You can’t use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have.”

Those who work with him describe him as a loyal friend who is talented, charismatic, and naturally warm. Clients see him as kind, responsible, easy to collaborate with, and someone with a sharp eye for visual storytelling.

For Said, every project is a chance to create magic. But his most meaningful “event” is the one he’s living now: fulfilling a long-envisioned dream and beginning a new chapter in Vallarta/Nayarit alongside his mother, building a life filled with meaning, art, and new possibilities.
